Sorry for the delay.
Some of you will already know that I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic cancer that has spread to my liver three weeks ago.
I am as shocked as anyone. In that time, I have had two surgeries, multiple scans, several doctor visits, and some very grim consultations.
I have been approved to start chemo this week.
I am not without hope, but I also know the realities of this diagnosis. But for now - we fight.

You all know that I don’t go through things without hoping to help someone else avoid it.
This diagnosis is asymptomatic. I had a little indigestion, but I went to the ER because my eyes were jaundiced. That’s usually what sends most pancreatic cancer patients to the hospital.
I urge you to live your lives to the fullest and count it all joy. God loves you and so do I. I have not asked why this has happened to me very much, and I know God has been too good to me to complain. I have had an amazing life, and I left very little on the table. I had the best parents, family, and friends. I went to the best schools and have truly lived, laughed, and loved. However this journey ends, know that I gave it everything in every moment because I chose to live that way. I would take care of my mom over and over - maybe I would get rich first, but I would do it again.
No pressure - if you want to donate, one of my friends has started a GoFundMe - because who budgets for cancer? I was planning to move to Toronto!
Thank you for your kindness and support.
